CLIENT: Capilano Mall
The North Vancouver School District typically has an art show featuring the students art at the end of the school year in a space that is featured for the public to enjoy. Displaying kids art can be challenging as every piece is unique and the sizes all vary. A space opened up in Capilano Mall that was perfect for an “Art Gallery” so we got creative. In order to create a display that would keep the art contained to specific areas, huge foam boards with frames were installed around the space, along the wall and suspended from the ceiling. Simple benches were added to create that minimal art gallery feel and not distract from the art pieces. The result was a open, airy space that really featured the art and made it pop with lots of room for people to walk around and enjoy the gallery.
