HOME STAGiNG

DO YOU WANT MAKE MORE MONEY ON YOUR INVESTMENT?

THEN YOU NEED YOUR PROPERTY TO STAND OUT
ABOVE THE COMPETITION!

YOU NEVER GET A SECOND CHANCE AT A FIRST IMPRESSION!

The art of preparing and packaging a property for sale is a proven real estate strategy.  Like speed dating, potential buyers are scanning through the MLS photo’s and will stop at what catches their eye, two things: how it looks and price. Home staging transforms properties from everyday living spaces into homes that prospective buyers can envision as their own.

Up to 90% of buyers look at the MLS photo’s before actually viewing the property.

Staging your home can make your property stand out with great photo's on the MLS site, driving people through your door. Your personal belongings reflect your own personality and lifestyle but potential buyers need to identify with a space that they can imagine themselves living in. You do not want to miss any opportunities and having your property staged by a professional can give you that advantage.

When you get ready to sell your home, it becomes a product. This product has strengths and weaknesses as well as competition. To compete, you MUST look better than any other product and you MUST be priced right. The property is no longer “your home” and it must be prepared for selling by de-personalizing and de-cluttering so you can get the most out of your investment.

HOME STAGING IS MORE THAN JUST DE-CLUTTERING

When you have your property staged by SPACELiFT we will:

  • meet with you for a pre-staging consultation to determine the needs of the property.
  • leave you with a list of suggestions that are needed to prepare your property for staging.
  • if needed , suggest neutral paint colour choices that will appeal to buyers.
  • put you in touch with local professional contractors, if necessary.

When we come in for a ½ or full day to stage your property to it’s fullest potential we will:

  • clearly define the function of each room.
  • enhance the best architectural features of your home, both inside and out.
  • use as many of your existing furnishings and accessories possible to keep costs down.
  • re-hang art and place furnishings to create a broad buyer appeal for your target market
  • set the stage for great MLS photo’s.

fine for living.......

staged for selling.......

“We were referred to Spacelift by our realtor, who raved about how great Lisa was. Well, she did not disappoint –in just one brief in-home consultation and a day of work, Lisa fully transformed our house from the typical (read: messy, cluttered, disheveled etc) family home (we have 3 children under 7), to a swanky, chic showroom for DINKs! We were very impressed with Lisa’s work, her communication skills and team spirit. We would strongly recommend her to anyone requiring staging services (in fact, we are going to hire her to help us decorate our NEW home too)!” Charles and Eve Chang
